How do I change my strap?
Changing the strap on your Apple Watch couldn't be simpler. Our step-by-step guide below will show you what to do:
-
Turn off your Apple Watch: Before changing the strap, it's a good idea to make sure your Apple Watch is turned off to prevent any unwanted input during the process.
-
Locate the release button: Turn your Apple Watch over so the back is facing you, and you'll see two buttons on each side of the back of the watch case. These are the watch strap release buttons.
-
Press and hold the release button: For each strap, press and hold the corresponding release button while gently sliding the strap out of the slot. You should feel a slight click when the button is depressed fully.
-
Remove the strap: While pressing the release button, slide the strap out of the slot on the back of the watch. Repeat this step for the other side of the strap.
-
Attach the new strap: Align the new strap with the slots on the back of the watch case. Insert one side of the new strap into one of the slots and then press it in firmly until you hear a click. Repeat this for the other side of the strap.
-
Make sure it's secure: After attaching the new strap, give it a gentle tug to ensure it's properly secured to the watch case.
-
Turn on your Apple Watch: Once the new strap is securely attached, switch your Apple Watch back on by pressing and holding the side button until the Apple logo appears.
And that's it! You've successfully changed the strap on your Apple Watch. Now its time to enjoy your refreshed look and comfortably wear your watch with the new strap.
